Providing professional fire, medical, and rescue response to those in the City of Prattville.

The Prattville Fire Department’s response area for fire and EMS response covers 36 square miles and includes major highways, waterways, and rail lines along with a growing residential and commercial infrastructure. In addition to fire and EMS calls, our department is also capable of mitigating numerous other types of hazards including: dive rescue and recovery, hazardous materials spills and releases, and technical rescue events such as vehicle extrication, collapse, swift water rescue, and confined space rescue just to name a few.


 

The City of Prattville Fire Department Maintains a Class 1 ISO Rating as graded by the Insurance Services Office.

Fire Station #4, located at 820 North Old Ridge Road, is now home to second Safe Haven Baby Box in the State of Alabama.

Yes, you must first obtain a burn permit from the Prattville Fire Marshal’s Office at 334.595.0300 and meet all the requirements set forth by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) for open burning.
