TRAINING DIVISION

The Fire Department Training Division is responsible for providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities to new recruits and existing Fire and Rescue personnel within the fire department. The main objective of the training division is to ensure that all personnel of the fire department are prepared to respond effectively to any emergency situation that they may encounter.

The Prattville Training Center is also a regional campus for the Alabama Fire College, instructing and training firefighters from across the state and country. The regional campus offers training programs that cover a wide range of topics, including fire suppression techniques, hazardous materials handling, emergency medical services, and search and rescue operations.
